Pairing with Sherry Ham & Sherry celebrates International Sherry Week

Ham & Sherry is taking part in the world famous International Sherry Week from 2 June to 7 June.

The Spanish bodega joins the wide array of restaurants and passionate Sherry aficionados in honouring the Jerez European Wine Capital in 2014, offering customers the chance to sample a glass of world class Sherry from some of Ham & Sherry’s rarest bottles and five tapas nibbles at the special price of $295.

General Manager Josef Murray has handpicked Sherries to pair with an array of specially prepared tapas at the buzzy restaurant. Murray’s passion and expertise have led to him educating Ham & Sherry frequenters, and for the weeklong event he will be showcasing a Sherry a day –

Monday, 2 June – Equipo Navazos, Manzanilla 42

Tuesday, 3 June – La Panesa, Emilio Hidalgo

Wednesday, 4 June – Del Duque, 30 years Solera, Gonzalez Byass

Thursday, 5 June – VORS 30 years old, Lustau

Friday, 6 June – Apostoles, 30 years Solera, Gonzalez Byass

Saturday, 7 June – Old Harvest, Ximénez Spinola

Guests can snack on five plates of tapas each that will change every day from June 2 to 7 of International Sherry Week to pair with the Sherry offering of the day including Textures of apples and walnut, Scallop with citrus and radish, Breaded sardines with lemon, Smoked razor clams with pickled chilli and Cecina with alberquina.
