Prior to joining the team at Palazzo Versace, Kel has built a successful marketing career working for an extensive range of global corporations and high-profile events. From acting as an activation strategist at MasterCard and Microsoft to implementing marketing campaigns at Dick Johnson Racing and Gold Coast Turf Club, Kel’s diverse and expansive experience makes her a valuable addition to the Palazzo Versace team. Joining Kel in the sales and marketing division is Renay Logan. Renay has a rich background in hospitality with twelve years hotel sales experience and joins Palazzo Versace after holding the position of Director of Sales and Marketing for the ACCOR Group. Earlier in her career, Renay spent ten years in the UK working with the Sloane Square Hotel and Mercer Group with a focus on corporate sales and MICE. Both Kel and Renay bring an incredible wealth of knowledge and team leadership to the Palazzo Versace.

“The Palazzo Versace is entering an incredibly exciting phase of its 14 year history with a renewed focus on delivering an exceptional, luxury experience to all our guests and re-energising the brand.  We will be building on our strategic partnerships and will continue to develop market leading packages and events, the Palazzo Versace is poised for a exceptional year ahead.  I am thrilled to be part of such a professional, passionate team,” Kel said.

This month also saw Russell Durnell leave his position as Palazzo Versace’s General Manager after a tenure of over four-years to pursue personal business interests.  His role as General Manager and brand guardian was held in high esteem and comes to a conclusion after a record breaking summer season. Long serving employee and Hotel Manager, Thierry Tollis, has stepped into the role as General Manager and will continue Russell’s legacy of growth and distinctively designer offerings.
