For the second year running, Palazzo Versace Gold Coast will embrace the true spirit of Christmas by raising funds for two, carefully selected, local Gold Coast charities this festive season.
Located in the centre of the hotel’s grand lobby; a custom-made six-metre tall Christmas tree will be decorated with handcrafted Palazzo Versace Gold Coast Teddy Bears. The Teddy Bears – “Hugo” and “Franklin” – will be the centrepiece, on the bespoke Palazzo Versace Gold Coast Teddy Bear Christmas Tree which has been designed and created by the hotel’s talented engineering and florist teams.
The funds raised from the purchase of the Palazzo Versace Gold Coast Teddy Bears will be proudly donated to the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation to help local patients in need and My Friend’s Place to support women and children affected by domestic violence.
“Christmas is a magical time of year here at Palazzo Versace Gold Coast. It’s not only about our spectacular festive dining offering and events, but also about giving back to the community to help the less fortunate.” Said Claire Huang, General Manager of Palazzo Versace Gold Coast.
On Friday December 2nd, 2016 Palazzo Versace Gold Coast will launch their annual Teddy Bear Christmas Tree initiative with live operatic performances from some of Opera Queensland’s most talented artists. Katie Stenzel will perform a range of Christmas classics underneath Palazzo Versace’s grand chandelier.
This special celebration marks the beginning of the festive season for Palazzo Versace, with a series of live Operatic Christmas themed performances scheduled on December 9th, 16th and 23rd, which are complimentary events at the hotel.
“Hugo” and “Franklin” will be available for sale from the 1st of December for $69 from the hotel’s reception area.
