The Expedia Awards recognise excellence and best business practice in the hotel industry. A testament to the hotel’s continued effort in striving for distinction in a competitive market, Pan Pacific Perth was awarded the ‘Top Performing Hotel by Room Nights (4.5 star or above)’ for the past year, whilst the award for ‘Most Engaged Partner on Expedia Partner Central Conversations’ recognised the hotel’s focus on enriching the customer’s experience.
The Most Engaged award is for the hotel’s endeavour to utilise Expedia Partner Central Conversation, a new tool that allows hotels to communicate with guests pre-stay to delight customers before they even arrive. This award was given to the hotel that has been the first to embrace this new technology and actively communicate with Expedia customers prior to arrival.
“It is an honour to be presented with not one but two accolades from the Expedia Awards Ceremony. With the recent enhancements to the hotel and our hard working team, Pan Pacific Perth has continued to thrive within the vast competition we are currently facing. These awards are a wonderful acknowledgement of team effort and I would like to congratulate our dedicated reservations team and the entire hotel on the recognition of our hotel’s best business practice,” commented John Kockan, Pan Pacific Perth General Manager.
The awards ceremony was held at Pan Pacific Perth on Monday 27 June 2016.
