The Rock Boat – one of the first themed music cruises of its kind – returns in 2017 for five nights of rock ‘n’ roll mayhem aboard the beautiful Norwegian Jade with stops in two Caribbean paradises along the way! Hosted by renowned alternative rock band Sister Hazel (“All for You”), The Rock Boat XVII has added sublime rockers Parachute, genre-bending songwriter Stephen Kellogg & The South West North East, Toronto-based rock group The Trews, ether-electrified musicians Carbon Leaf, virtuoso guitarist firekid, indie pop band Knox Hamilton and silent dance party DJs Headphone Disco to the musical lineup. They’ll join “Fresh Eyes” singer Andy Grammer, Ben Rector, and Better Than Ezra, plus more than fifteen other acts for one legendary week at sea.

The Rock Boat first set sail August 30, 2001 when Sister Hazel wanted to do something special for their fans, The Hazel Nuts. Before the ship reached its first port, lasting memories had been made with plans to return year over year. The 17th annual sailing of The Rock Boat, embarking February 10 through February 15, 2017, will gather more than 2,500 music lovers for an open-water musical odyssey that includes non-stop performances and collaborations from dozens of artists, theme nights, fan-band activities and tropical memory making between Tampa, Florida; Harvest Caye, Belize; and Costa Maya, Mexico.
