Parental Guidance

June 13, 2019 Hotel News No Comments Email Email

Situated less than an hour from the city, The Sanchaya offers one of the most convenient getaways from Singapore, which is why the serene estate has launched a new experience for those with relatives visiting them from abroad.

Suitable for groups, couples, and solo travellers alike, the aptly named ‘Parental Guidance’ will see the world-class team of experts at The Sanchaya take care of their guests door to door, with car transfers, a specially tailored itinerary, and luxurious touches, for a worry-free week as hosts are able to continue their busy daily lives in Singapore.

Parental Guidance offers younger family members the opportunity to treat their parents to a luxurious escape, enabling them to go about their daily lives, with a guilt-free, parent-free few days. Ensuring that parents are looked after throughout their time away from the family, The Sanchaya will arrange a luxury transfer from a home address to the ferry terminal, where they can make their way through security and into the lounge, before making the 50-minute journey to Bintan Island in Emerald class. Upon arrival in Bintan, parents will once again be greeted by a member of The Sanchaya team before being settled into a private VIP lounge as the immigration process is completed on their behalf. After a private transfer to the estate, guests will have time to freshen up in their room before being welcomed on the outdoor terrace with a cup of tea and cake.

Once settled, Parental Guidance guests will have the opportunity to select an hour-long spa treatment of choice. The Sanchaya’s Indonesian-inspired spa offers two treatment rooms, with a tranquil and soothing atmosphere and an invigorating menu of world-class treatments and organic scrubs. Highlights include the Deep Tissue Massage, which works to release chronic muscle tension or knots through direct pressure within the layers of the muscles and connective tissue.

After a relaxing night’s sleep, PG guests will be invited to partake in a morning yoga class on The Sanchaya’s private beach. Trained instructors will tailor the exercises to suit each individual, ensuring that participants leave feeling energised and revitalised. During their time relaxing by the ocean-front swimming pool, PG guests will be looked after by The Sanchaya team, who will provide complimentary picnic baskets complete with water, snacks, and sun protection. After lunch, they will have the opportunity to play a game of boules on the manicured croquet lawn, before being being treated to The Sanchaya’s signature high tea. The decadent spread will be created by Chef Giacomo, who will provide a selection of finger sandwiches and miniature pastries to complement a range of fine teas.

On their final morning at the estate, guests will have the opportunity to take part in an authentic Indonesian cooking class where they will learn to recreate a traditional recipe using fresh ingredients from The Sanchaya’s garden. The Parental Guidance experience will leave guests feeling relaxed and ready to rejoin their family in Singapore for the rest of their stay.
