Paul Gauguin Cruises (www.pgcruises.com), operator of the highest-rated and longest continually sailing luxury cruise ship in the South Pacific, the m/s Paul Gauguin, and the 88-guest m/v Tere Moana, will offer oceanographer and environmentalist Jean-Michel Cousteau and his Ocean Futures Society’s Ambassadors of the Environment Youth Program free on select voyages aboard The Gauguin this summer when booked by April 30, 2015—a value of $329 per child.
The Ambassadors of the Environment Youth Program is a unique, groundbreaking program that introduces young travelers to the extraordinary natural wonders of French Polynesia through direct, hands-on, interactive learning. Under the guidance of expert Ocean Futures Society naturalists, Young Ambassadors (ages 9-17) participate in activities during the voyage. Some of the activities that are included in the program are lectures, day and night snorkeling, swimming with rays and sharks, onboard games and activities, cycling, rainforest hikes, and sustainable living lessons. Parents are encouraged to join their children on eco-excursions and other activities aboard and ashore.
