Creatively presented with a touch of flair, the highly prized fish adorns the menu of Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant throughout December. The star ingredient is available in five variations with three different preparation methods.
From Dec 1 – 31, diners at Zuan Yuan Chinese Restaurant will be able to savour Pearl Garoupa creations, creatively put together with a touch of flair.
Delicately put together by a highly experienced kitchen team, sublime creations like the Wok Fried Garoupa Cantonese style served in Claypot, Steamed Garoupa with Mandarin Peels, Steamed Garoupa in “Village” style, Poached Garoupa with Vermicelli “Jiang Xi” style and the Traditional Braised Garoupa served in Claypot are bound to lift the appetite!
Pearl garoupa is a cross between the tiger garoupa and giant garoupa and it’s said to be extremely difficult to farm. This fish, also known as Long Hu Ban in Cantonese is popular for its sweet and firm flesh which is rich in Omega-3 oils.
The Pearl Garoupa promotion is priced at RM80nett per portion. It is available throughout the month for lunch and dinner. Apart from this promotion, Cantonese cuisine prepared hot from the wok is available as well.
Highlights include Braised Imperial Bird’s Nest with Saffron Lily Bulb in Pumpkin Soup, Poached Korean Cabbage with Smoked Duck, Deep Fried Baby Duck with Chinese Herbs, Wok Fried Venison Ribs and Chilled Lemon Grass Jelly with Lime and Aloe Vera.
