Penfolds Magill Estate in Adelaide, South Australia, hosted the welcome function for international business events buyers and media attending Dreamtime 2015 last night, with guests experiencing first hand some of Australia’s finest food and wine. Food and theatre combined at the welcome event, captivating the imaginations of international buyers and media from more than 10 markets. Penfolds’ Ambassadors accompanied guests around the tasting rooms, as well as the underground caves, which hold more than AUD300 million of the world famous Penfolds Grange.
Guests had the opportunity to sample premium wines from the estate’s reserve casks and learn more about the vineyard – which dates back to 1844 – and the pivotal role it has played in the evolution of winemaking in Australia. After their tour, guests enjoyed the panoramic views of the city – from vineyard to skyline – available from the Magill Estate’s vantage point.
The vibrancy and event delivery capability of Dreamtime’s host city, Adelaide was brought to life at the welcome event, showcasing Australia’s position as a truly unique destination for incentive events.
