Personal Travel Manager Retains Clients despite Move across State

It’s business as usual for personal travel manager Amanda Marwick’s loyal client base, despite Marwick and her family moving over 650 kilometers and seven hours travelling time, from the gold mining desert town of Kalgoorlie to Mandurah on the coast of Western Australia.

The benefits of being with a specialist home-based network are clearly evident for Marwick.

photo 2“Flexibility, family, client service and future were the four key drivers for becoming a home-based consultant, and TravelManagers has catered perfectly to all of these needs. I now have the flexibility to put my family first without compromising client service and with our move to Mandurah, I have the support from the other local personal travel managers’ and my state based business partnership manager to further grow my client base locally,” says Marwick.

TravelManagers current Mandurah based personal travel managers, Melinda Mulhall and Kristy Nichols welcomed Marwick with open arms to Mandurah, the second largest city in Western Australia.

“Amanda already has a fantastic client base in Kalgoorlie, and Kristy and I look forward to working together with Amanda to establish a presence in Mandurah as well. We recognize each personal travel manager has strengths in different areas and we happily support each other and work together to collectively grow our individual businesses – that’s the TravelManagers’ way,” says Mulhall.

TravelManagers Business Partnership Manager Western Australia Alison Hill says Marwick epitomizes TravelManagers’ philosophy of turning every single transaction into a long-term client relationship.

“It’s a real testament to Amanda that her Kalgoorlie clients feel confident calling on the expert advice of their personal travel manager for all of their travel needs, no matter where they’re located and in Amanda’s case that’s seven hours away.”

Marwick’s client base is not solely limited to Australia.

“Amanda has been my travel agent for the last 18 months, during which time I have booked holidays to Bali, Italy and France, where I am currently living. The fact that we are in different countries with different time zones makes absolutely no difference as we communicate effectively through Facebook. It is wonderful to work with someone committed to such high levels of customer service,” says loyal client Adele Leahy.

Marwick advocates having access to advanced technology solutions is critical when working with clients not locally based.

“TravelManagers’ technology is second to none. I have access to the broadest and most in-depth support and infrastructure available, enabling me to deliver superior service to my clients no matter where in the world they may be, and that’s hugely important to me,” says Marwick.
