Personal Travel Manager Shares Knowledge Through Training Seminar

TravelManagers’ Kim Mason representative for Cronulla, believes effective time management is the key to success in any mobile environment.

As the published author of Tick Tock! Time Management for Mobile or Home Office Workers, Mason has just undertaken her inaugural training session to assist fellow New South Wales’ personal travel managers conquer the art of time management.

Whilst some may consider sharing secrets of success as being competitive territory, it is completely the opposite philosophy for TravelManagers.

“TravelManagers is taking very positive steps to support and educate personal travel managers and if we have talent amongst our personal travel managers we utilise that mentorship to its full extent. An overriding objective of TravelManagers is to create a sense of family and strong community spirit and Kim’s training sessions are just another example of how the personal travel managers work well together and support each other for mutual success,” says Samantha Khodeir, TravelManagers’ National Training Manager.

Mason attributes her proven success to providing a practical approach that can be easily adopted with significant and immediate results.

“People who set up work for themselves at home or on the go are usually very motivated people. Managing their time effectively is the first and most important thing they need to do to achieve the goals they’ve set for themselves. I’ve learnt this through my own experience working as a personal travel manager and I’m excited to now have the opportunity to share my knowledge and experience in a training environment with my colleagues,” she says.

Six New South Wales based personal travel managers undertook the first of Mason’s personal time management course.

“I always knew effective time management was important, and now I have learnt some skills to remain focused towards my vision of success.  The ideas are really practical and easy to implement. It’s so unique to have a management training opportunity where we can learn from a fellow personal travel manager. The fact that they walk the walk, providing real examples and experiences that I relate to, is so effective. It really is another example of TravelManagers being forward thinking and why I love working with the company,” says Michelle Nicholas, representative for Warriewood.

Initially a one off training session, with such resounding positive feedback, it is envisaged Mason’s time management training course will now be available on an increasingly wide basis in the coming months.
