This month Swan River Seaplanes will be taking to the skies with the launch of Western Australia’s newest tourism initiative that will flaunt tourist hotspots surrounding Perth.

Commencing with a departures from the Queen Street Jetty in the Swan River the tour includes a low-level scenic flight down the WA coastline to Margaret River in a luxury 12 seater Cessna seaplane.  The low-level flight encompasses the South West coastline including icons such as Penguin Island, Cape Naturaliste and Sugarloaf Rock, seen from large windows with unobstructed views.

Upon landing at the Margaret River airstrip, guests join the multi-award winning tour company ‘Top Drop Tours’ who host a 5 hour guided tour.  The tour incorporates a selection of hand-picked wineries for tastings and lunch before returning to Perth city for a water landing in the Swan River

The opening of Swan River Seaplanes has come at a good time with recent announcements in favour of new tourism activity creating employment opportunities and unique reasons to visit Western Australia.

“We’re thrilled to be offering such a unique and exciting way for visitors from around the globe to experience world-renowned areas like Margaret River in a day. So many visitors come to Perth without enough time to explore the regions and we’re confident that our day tour will give these people a taste and encourage them to come back!” said Swan River Seaplanes Director, Kristy Bailey.

Swan River Seaplanes operates day tours, Thursday to Sunday from September to April.  A full day Margaret River tour is $795 per adult.
