The exclusive offer of €300 onboard credit per person is available on various departures and ships from Ponant’s deluxe fleet (seven of which operate in the Arctic), including their incredible new luxury icebreaker ship, Le Commandent Charcot. Set to launch in 2021, this pioneering vessel has been built to high environmental standards: it uses a hybrid electric power of battery power and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and has a PC2 Polar Class certification, allowing passengers to visit rarely seen areas with minimised impact.
Two internationally renowned architecture and design companies have designed the interior – Jean-Philippe Nuel and Wilmotte & Associes – and it reflects the natural environment the ship will visit through the use of stone, leather and wood. It has just 135 staterooms, of which 31 are suites with balconies and outside views, an indoor pool, sauna and well-being area and two restaurants.
