Piazza D’oro Continues To Show Local Love

In a nation-wide initiative that places community at the very heart, Piazza D’Oro Espresso’s ‘Local Love’ campaign returns in 2016.http://www.banyantree.com/en/ap-thailand-phuket-resort

The espresso brand will again share $50,000 to a total of 10 deserving enterprises. Celebrating community values, sustainability and passion, the campaign identifies where Australia deserves ‘Local Love’.

Piazza D’Oro first launched the charitable initiative in 2015, spreading a total $50,000 prize pool across Australian communities to support their local projects.

Piazza D’Oro’s Brand Manager, Katherine Galatola of JDE Coffee says,
“We are inviting people to share their stories of how a $5000 investment would benefit their community, value-add family and community-based events, building work or philanthropic assistance to not-for-profit and volunteer-based benevolent associations.”

The unique online and social media-led initiative aims to parallel the ethos for which Piazza D’Oro stands, to ‘support local, because the community is the core of Australia’.

Piazza D’Oro’s owned media, including take away cups, point of sales materials, and social platforms have received a ‘Local Love’ makeover as a reminder to all customers to recognise those within the community who may benefit from the financial support.
