Ham & Sherry, the buzzy bodega by Yenn Wong and Michelin-star chef Jason Atherton, brings the essence of Spanish culture to Ship Street with their new Pica Pica Hour.

From 5pm to 6pm, Monday to Saturday, guests can indulge in tapas and beverages at prices they will love.

General Manager Josef Murray says, “We chose to introduce the Pica Pica hour to Ham & Sherry to give our customers a place to relax and wind down with small snacks to accompany a glass of Sherry, wine or beer before dinner.”

The “Pica Pica” hour allows the early birds to snack on a range of specially priced nibbles to go with their tipple: Chef Selection of Cold Cuts ($48), Pan con tomate ($28), Salt & pepper ‘chipriones’ with squid ink aioli ($48) and Crispy garlic & chilli prawns ($48).

Guests can sip and swirl on a selection of specially priced wines, sherries and beer. Pica Pica offers include 2012 Rueda, Herbis, Franck Massard, Viura ($38 per glass), 2012 Terra Alta, El Mago, Franck Massard, Garnacha ($38 per glass), Estrella Galicia ($38 per bottle) and the bar’s favourite La Guita Hijos De Rainera Perez Marin, Manzanilla ($32 per glass).
