Hong Kong’s favourite neighbourhood pasta bar, Pici, has launched a new set lunch menu, served Monday to Friday from 12pm to 2.30pm. Priced at HKD148 per person, the three-course menu offers a down-to-earth selection of starters using fresh Italian produce, home-made pasta and classic Italian desserts.

The charming pasta joint headed by talented young chef Andrea Viglione has a focus on seasonality and freshness, with all dishes and pasta made from scratch daily. The lunch menu is rotated weekly, giving guests a try of different regional pastas and flavours with each visit.

Types of starters guests can enjoy on the menu include Chef Andrea’s choice of quality Italian Cold Cuts, freshly tossed Radicchio Salad with goat cheese, balsamic and hazelnuts and Pici favourite or the creamy and light Burrata Cheese from Puglia (additional HKD28).

Pastas on the menu include restaurant signatures, such as the eponymous Pici Amatriciana with flavourful pork cheek and rich Pappardelle with Duck Ragu, as well as specials exclusive to lunchtime. This week, don’t miss out on Chef Andrea’s Gnocchi with Gorgonzola and Walnut, a bowlful of comfort to light up any office day. All pasta come with gluten-free and vegetarian options.

Lunch is rounded off in traditional Italian style with Pici’s take on a classic Tiramisu, Strawberry Panna Cotta or a simple roasted Espresso – to recharge as the Italian’s do.

Open daily with no reservations or service charge, Pici is the perfect spot to enjoy simple and satisfying food and real, down-to-earth Italian pasta.
