Plaza Premium Group, the pioneer and industry leader in providing Premium Airport Services, reveals the latest development of Aerotel, its airport transit hotel brand, today in Singapore at ITB Asia 2016 (19-21 October 2016), one of the major travel trade shows in the region.
Representatives of Plaza Premium Group (the Group) will meet travel trade partners and clients at its exhibition booth located at K30 of Hall E at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre in the coming 3 days and showcase to them the latest premium airport services and facilities across its global network. Further to the official opening of Aerotel Singapore in early 2016, the highlight of this year at ITB Asia is to introduce Aerotel in the airports of Abu Dhabi and Rio de Janeiro.
Aerotel’s airport transit hotel concept is well received by and is a popular choice among travellers who have long layover time at an airport or are taking flights in the wee hours. This airport transit hotel offers comfortable, convenient, premium yet affordable accommodation in either landside or airside of an airport.
“After the official launch of the 70-room Aerotel Singapore in February 2016, the hotel has been welcoming more and more international transit travellers with a promising room occupancy. We also received many positive comments from leisure and business travellers as well as from corporate partners,” Mr Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group continued, “we are glad to see that our first Aerotel has effectively filled up the inefficiency gap and addressed the need of travellers. With our attentive services and state-of-the-art facilities, I am confident that Aerotel can contribute to attracting more transit travellers to the airports with our brand presence.”
Aerotel Abu Dhabi
Simultaneously, the Group has launched the soft opening of its second airport transit hotel in Abu Dhabi International Airport in March this year. Located at the International Departures of Terminal 1 in the airport, Aerotel Abu Dhabi spans over approximately 14,500 square feet. As the only airport transit hotel located at the airside of the airport, it provides over 50 comfortable guestrooms with 4 types of options with respect to size. The hotel inherits the brand ethos of Aerotel with contemporary, chic yet elegant design to create a home-away-from-home experience for transit travellers. Attentive services and facilities including signature fragrance and soft acoustics, five-star mattress, soft and hard pillows, powerful hot shower and premium skincare products are also available.
Aerotel Rio de Janeiro
At Tom Jobim International Airport of Rio de Janeiro, another Aerotel is ready to be soft opened in late 2016. This is a boutique sized airport transit hotel spanning over 2,000 square feet located in the newly opened South Pier at the International Departures of Terminal 2. Equipped with 16 comfortable guestrooms, this boutique hotel aims to provide transit travellers a cosy and homey experience while awaiting in the airport terminal. Not only has it adopted the signature look and feel of the brand, but also incorporated local elements in its design to give travellers a South America’s exotic touch in the airport environment.
On top of Singapore, Abu Dhabi and Rio de Janeiro, new Aerotels in London Heathrow of the UK, Kuala Lumpur of Malaysia and Hyderabad of India are also in the pipeline.
