Plaza Premium Group and Cambodia Airports jointly celebrated the grand opening of the new Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh today.
“I would like to extend my warmest congratulations to Phnom Penh International Airport and Plaza Premium Group today on the official opening of its first passenger lounge here in Phnom Penh.” said H.E. Dr. Thong Khon, Minister of Tourism of the Royal Government of Cambodia and the Guest of Honour of the Grand Opening Ceremony.
Located on the Mezzanine Floor of International Departures at Phnom Penh International Airport, the new Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh is a premium facility at the newly expanded airport terminal that offers travellers a tranquil and comfortable environment to relax ahead of their flight.
“This is our first lounge in Cambodia. We firmly believe our presence will enhance travellers’ experience at this airport in the wake of Cambodia’s booming tourism industry.” said Mr. Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Group, at the ceremony today.

As the first independent airport lounge in Cambodia, the new Plaza Premium Lounge spans over 15,000 square feet with the capacity of close to 300 seats, bringing brand new experience to all travellers flying out of Phnom Penh International Airport, regardless of their airline or class of travel.
This state-of-the-art airport lounge has employed fine timber, polished granite and supreme quality fabric in the design, creating a contemporary, stylish yet homey ambiance for travellers to escape from the airport’s hustle and bustle. A captivating “photo wall” with a collection of vintage pictures of Cambodia is featured at the bar and dining area, reinforcing a sense of place and the reminiscence of this country.

Equipped with a private VIP room with a seating capacity of 10 people and 3 shower rooms with a full selection of amenities, this new lounge offers complimentary Wi-Fi and plenty of electrical outlets for tablets, laptops and mobile phones. It also houses Wellness Spa for a soothing massage and features signature honeycomb seating to provide extra privacy. Plaza Premium Lounge in Phnom Penh provides its guests with an array of food and beverage options. Apart from a selection of juices, soft drinks, coffee, tea, espresso and cappuccino, a delectable selection of mouth-watering Southeast Asian fare is also available, including signature dishes such as Thai-style coconut and chicken soup noodle and Vietnamese spring rolls filling with prawn or mixed vegetables.
Travellers have the option of pre-booking on the website (www.plaza-network.com) for two or five hours lounge use packages. Prices start at US$35 for 2 hours’ lounge access including shower and US$50 for five hours.
This year, to keep in line with Cambodia Airports’ upgrading program, Plaza Premium Group will also be bringing its Cambodia’s second airport lounge to Siem Reap International Airport very soon. Cambodia received 4.8 million international tourist arrivals in 2015. According to H.E. Dr. Thong Khon, it is expected that Cambodia will receive from 7.5 to 8 million international arrivals by 2020.
