Plaza Premium Lounge Steps Up Global Expansion In 2015

Plaza Premium Lounge at YVR International - L - CopyPlaza Premium Lounge Management Limited confirms 8 new lounge projects for 2015, it is embarking on major expansion growing its lounge service network to 35 international airports, the new projects in the pipeline include Brisbane, London Heathrow Terminal 4, Phnom Penh, Salalah, Singapore, Shanghai Pudong, Siem Reap and Winnipeg.

The latest Plaza Premium Lounges will reveal new designs including a 2015 model of its signature seating and lighting. All massage services in the lounges will be upgraded and operated by premium organic airport spa brand, Wellness Spa. For food and beverage, new lounges will introduce The Green Market, to promote healthy food options and have new live-cooking food counters.

The company will work with China Eastern Airlines to build a flagship lounge at the airline’s home base, Shanghai Pudong International Airport. This will be the first lounge of the airline to partner with an international airport service provider.

“We successfully expanded our footprints to Europe and Australia last year. This year, we will continue to strengthen our presence.” Mr Song Hoi-see, Founder and CEO of Plaza Premium Lounge Management Limited said.

“In the next three year, we will invest over USD 40 million for new lounge development globally. Working with partners from all walks of life with varying business objectives has significantly enriched our experience and knowledge in this unique mix of hospitality and travel at the airport. “In addition to strengthening airport lounge business, we will also focus on developing airport meet & greet services, and food and beverage outlets in airports. The Private Resting Suites in our lounges are met with overwhelming response from passengers, and the demand continues to grow. This year we have decided to respond by pioneering a line of airport transit hotels that are tailored to the passengers’ needs. We are going to offer a whole new airport experience.”

The company strives to maintain an excellent guest experience across the world. Plaza Premium Lounge in Macau will reveal its phase two design, which will double the size of the existing lounge, boast Asia’s first landside in-airside out airport lounge. Three lounges in Hyderabad’s Rajiv Ghandi International Airport, a lounge in Johor’s Senai International Airport and one of the three Plaza Premium Lounges in Abu Dhabi, Al Dhabi Lounge, will also undergo a major facelift this year.
