Anantara Vacation Club has partnered with the Golden Triangle Asian Elephant Foundation to collect donations for The Freedom Story at this year’s 2017 King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament.

The Freedom Story (www.thefreedomstory.org) helps educate Thailand’s at-risk youth through a combination of scholarships, mentorship initiatives and sustainability tools.  To date, the organisation has successfully helped 180 young people stay in school while providing educational aid to thousands more. This year’s tournament will be held until March 12 on the banks of the Chaophraya River, next to the Anantara Bangkok Riverside Hotel.

Each donation of THB200 at Anantara Vacation Club’s event booth will be entered in a contest to win one of four luxurious four- day/three-night stays worth USD 3,300 in a two bedroom pool villa at the Anantara Vacation Club Mai Khao Phuket. Runner up prizes include high tea for two at select Anantara Hotels and Resorts.

The King’s Cup Elephant Polo Tournament is hosted annually by Anantara Hotels and Resorts.  Now in its 15th year, the tournament has become one of the most prominent charitable events in Southeast Asia and has raised over THB 46 million towards improving the lives of Thailand’s wild and domesticated elephant population.
