Arctic, Mediterranean, North Europe and the Baltic – reservations opened on Tuesday 8 December for a host of Winter 2017 itineraries from French cruise line and world leader in polar cruises, PONANT, a full 18 months before the first departures. With nearly 50 cruises on offer, passengers have a wide choice of programmes varying from one to two weeks, and all accompanied by guides, naturalists, experts or lecturers depending on the destination. The Open Bar is included on all itineraries, and “early bookers” can take advantage of up to 30% savings on the brochure fare, for a limited period, through the PONANT BONUS scheme. Last but not least, a range of carefully planned pre and post cruise programmes have been developed to perfectly complement each cruise.

Great Arctic North

Explore the world’s extreme regions in five-star comfort, a concept created by PONANT which has become its signature. Sail to Greenland, the Baffin Sea, Spitsbergen and beyond from June to September 2017 in the wake of the great explorers, just a few hours from Paris. For an original once in a lifetime summer vacation, these voyages to a remote region will appeal to young and old alike.

Athens, Bonifacio, Istanbul and Venice are just some of the ports of call whose history is revealed by expert guides. All the charm of the Mediterranean with its picturesque villages, ancient cultures and coastal paths bordered by olive groves and crystal blue water awaits – a way to explore the many facets of these shores in one trip.

North Europe & the Baltic

Like vast open-air museums each have their own unique atmosphere which never fails to captivate the traveller. With guides and lecturers aboard, these cruises offer a wealth of fascinating insights into the two regions, through the countries visited and the wide variety of sites proposed.
