To further enhance its guest amenities, Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort just launched a reimagined pool experience introducing guests to a new lineup of premium poolside offerings and indulgences with an elevated level of hospitality Outrigger is best known for.
Inspired by Hawaiian culture and the local Hokule`a Polynesian Voyaging Society connected to Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort, the revitalized guest offering includes an interactive pool experience with fresh food and beverage, personalized storytelling, Hawaiian music and beach and pool-related retail options with nods to OZONE (Outrigger’s ZONE), a global eco-friendly initiative to protect the world’s oceans.
Each poolside cabana is named with inspiration from the Art of Wayfinding, a foundational framework provided by the star compass for Polynesian Voyaging that is divided into 32 houses, each bearing on the horizon where a celestial body resides. This Hawaiian tradition is reflected at the pool welcome desk, named Ho`okipa Hale, and the hydration station dubbed Hale Haka. The revamped pool experience at Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort also boasts six new cabanas carrying the Hale name – Hale La (Sun), Hale `Aina (Land), Hale Noio (Tern Bird), Hale Manu (Bird), Hale Nalani (Heavens) and Hale Naleo (Voices) – along with casabella cabanas referred to as Pune.

Guests of Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort and select guests of Waikiki Shore by Outrigger® can now take advantage of the new Hale cabanas, including an outdoor couch, two chaises, two outdoor chairs, a cooler, a snack basket, two reusable beverage containers, local and luxury magazines, and reef safe sunscreen. Menu items from Kani Ka Pila Grille are also available for purchase.

Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort also invites resort guests to make reservations for Hale Under the Stars, offering an intimate poolside cabana from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for $45 plus tax and the perfect opportunity to enjoy the resort’s nightly live music performances at Kani Ka Pila Grille.
Additionally, Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort is partnering with Hawaii resort specialists Aqualani to create a quality guest experience with highly trained beach and pool concierges who are well versed in attentive service, beach information, sun protection, OZONE and the history of Polynesian Voyaging. Aqualani assists with retail sales of Maui Jim sunglasses, reef safe sunscreen, Hale and Pune rentals, beach lounge chair sets and umbrellas, and Holokai sailing.
