The Hertz Corporation, the world’s leading general use car rental brand, has introduced the impressive Porsche Boxster and Porsche Cayman models into its  head-turning Adrenaline Collection in Australia.

image003“Porsche is known for setting the benchmark in convertible sports car design, so it is with great pleasure that Hertz introduces these vehicles to the Australian car rental market,” said Chris Rusden, Vice President, Hertz Australia and New Zealand. “The two Porsche models will certainly inject a new level of exhilaration into any trip.

“This unique and exciting introduction demonstrates our continued efforts to provide Australian renters with the finest service and vehicles available. The Porsche Boxster and Cayman really will offer a supreme driving experience and turn heads wherever they go.”

A total of six Porsches will initially join the Hertz fleet, including two Porsche Boxsters at Brisbane Airport and two Porsche Caymans at each of Melbourne and Sydney Airports.

The latest Porsche Boxster is an engaging new rendition of the iconic original that is known for setting the bench mark in convertible sports car design. The Boxster is low, wide, fast yet subtle enough to be popular in any setting.
The Porsche Cayman has practicality, looks and performance all in one car. The Cayman’s design is mature and sharp, and the stunning exterior of the Cayman is matched only by its powerful performance. Both models offer a three-spoke sports steering wheel to control the innovative mid-mounted engine, which keeps the engine’s centre of gravity low and central to offer a precise and direct driving feel. These two-seater vehicles have powerful 2.7 litre flat six-cylinder engines that are perfect for on-road pursuits, as well as large storage compartments at the front and rear.

The Hertz Adrenaline Collection includes high performance cars that have been selected for their sporty design and provide renters with a breath-taking driving experience. The other vehicles in Hertz Australia’s Adrenaline Collection currently include the Nissan Pulsar SSS Turbo and Toyota 86. Hertz’s other distinctive lines of specialist vehicles in the country comprise the Prestige, Fun, Outback and Green Collections.

Hertz customers travelling to airport locations in Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane can select a Porsche vehicle for their next rental by visiting hertz.com.au. After selecting the pick-up location and booking dates, the available Porsche vehicles will be displayed.
