Positive feedback from agents on ‘International transfer’ launch

DEDICATED rail specialist International Rail has been greatly encouraged by the response of agency partners and the industry generally to its recently launched ‘International Transfer’ booking platform on October 17.

Managing director Jonathan Hume contributes early success to providing agents with a simple and easy system to meet clients’ transfer requirements.

In just three weeks, the company has received more than 250 registrations from agencies around the country, giving access to over 800 individual consultants.

He said, “Bookings are starting to pour in as agents become familiar with the simple booking process and excellent prices.

He added, “The response from the launch has been overwhelming. Feedback from agents indicates they are impressed with the concept of booking all transfers in one place with access to exceptional software providing a stress free user experience.

“The positive uptake has been mostly a result of widespread frustration with fragmented booking processes and unreliable transfer operators.”

Mr Hume said that agents also noted that participating operators are reliable as a result of heavy vetting by large travel companies around the world using the same system. Overall, it is pleasing to see such excitement and relief from agents as training has occurred. It is one of those “no brainer” solutions for those that take the time to register and book”.
