P&O Cruises World Cruising is now taking pre-registrations for the debut season of its new ship Britannia, which is set to make a very British splash when she launches next year.

Britannia’s maiden 2015-16 program will start on March 14, 2015 with her first cruise from Southampton – a 14-night journey through the western Mediterranean region. Visiting seven popular ports including Barcelona, Monte Carlo, Rome, Gibraltar, Ajaccio (Corsica) and Seville and Cartagena in Spain, the cruise is priced from $1799* per person twin share. unnamed (7)

The program also includes a special 12-night circumnavigation of the British Isles, sampling some of the best landscapes, cuisine and culture the region has to offer.

Sailing from Southampton on July 6, 2015 the 12-night cruise will visit eight exciting ports from Inverness and Kirkwall in the north of Scotland to Dublin and Cork.  Priced from $2139* per person twin share, the voyage will also feature opportunities to view four captivating stretches of coastline from Flamborough Head on the Yorkshire Coast, through to South Shields, Cape Wrath and the white cliffs of Dover.

In all, Britannia’s inaugural season will see her sail on 33 cruises visiting 11 different regions including Northern Europe and the Mediterranean, with some cruises offering overnight stays in Madeira and St Petersburg.

As Britain’s largest ship built exclusively for the British market, the 141,000-tonne Britannia has a range of stand-out features including the cruise line’s first ever onboard cookery school, The Cookery Club, with celebrity chefs coordinated by Britain’s favourite TV chef James Martin.

Culinary giants Marco Pierre White, Atul Kochhar, Olly Smith and Eric Lanlard will lend their expertise to a raft of food options including specialty restaurants, wine bars and gala dinners, while the ship will also feature a state-of-the-art spa, a stunning theatre with an LED wall and a one million pound art collection.

Meanwhile its accommodation will include more than 1800 cabins, with all outside cabins offering balconies.

Pre-registrations are open until March 25 with the full program on sale from March 27 in Australia.

Pre-registrations are available by contacting P&O Cruises World Cruising on 13 24 28.
