Preferred Hotel Group™ is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Daniel Chong as Director of Revenue Account Management & Global Strategy, Asia Pacific, Middle East & Africa, (APMEA), who will be based in Singapore.

With a professional background that includes 20 years in the hospitality industry and seven years in international banking, Daniel brings to Preferred Hotel Group extensive experience in the revenue management, strategy formulation, hotel operations, marketing, and asset management disciplines. Much of his career was established at Hyatt International, after which he joined InterContinental Hotels Group. Daniel subsequently served as Vice President of Asset Management and Operations for United Overseas Land’s hospitality arm. His most recent appointment was Corporate Director at Banyan Tree Hotels & Resort.

Daniel’s appointment will enhance Preferred Hotel Group’s current specialist revenue team in APMEA, comprising Ms. Karen Wong and Mr. C.S. “Ram” Ramachandran, Directors of Revenue Account Management based out of Hong Kong and New Delhi, respectively. Daniel’s  in-depth knowledge of asset management and hotel operations will allow the revenue team that already offers strategic revenue management services and eMarketing expertise, to provide a more comprehensive overview of how each hotel member is performing, and offer more in-depth solutions that will not only maximize revenue generation but also help to control overall hotel operating costs.

As Preferred Hotel Group continues to build its presence in APMEA, we want to ensure that all of our hotel members remain at the cutting edge of their business. Our specialist revenue team will work hand in hand with our hotel partners, crafting  dynamically tailored strategies  to enhance profitability in this competitive industry,” says Mr. Ananya Narayan, Executive Vice President of Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa, Preferred Hotel Group.
