Preferred Hotel Group™ has partnered with Himalayas Hotels & Communities, a move that enhances the company’s Asia Pacific portfolio with the addition of  two innovative, stylish lifestyle hotels: Himalayas Qingdao Hotel, a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts; and Himalayas Nantong Hotel, a member of Preferred Boutique.

unnamed (1)Our partnership with Himalayas Hotels & Communities is a significant development, as it exemplifies our commitment to expand the Preferred Hotel Group brand into secondary cities across China,”  said Mr. Anthony Ross, Executive Vice President, Asia Pacific, Middle East and Africa. “As discerning travellers continue to demand something unique and new from the independent hospitality experience, we are pleased to welcome these two properties and the vibrant, integrated lifestyle element that they bring to our growing portfolio.

Both Himalayas Qingdao Hotel and Himalayas Nantong Hotel will represent the first lifestyle hotels to open in their respective cities and both are situated within larger development complexes, extending vibrant programming to guests through an abundance of shopping, dining, and entertainment offerings. In addition, both properties feature “paperless” guestrooms, encouraging guests to pursue environmentally friendly travel practices by doing everything from check-in to check-out using the property’s on-site technological offerings.
