image004Preferred Hotels & Resorts, the world’s largest independent hotel brand, welcomed 15 properties in prominent destinations such as Jaipur, Chengdu, and Miami to its portfolio over the past three months. Highlights of the new hotel additions include:

Half Moon – Montego Bay, Jamaica

Situated between the hills and the sea, Half Moon is regarded as one of the Caribbean’s most iconic resorts, with 400 acres of tropical gardens and two miles of beachfront. After a peaceful night’s sleep in one of the resort’s beachfront suites or private villas with personal butler, cook and housekeeper,  travelers can laze at one of the property’s 54 swimming pools, get active with on-site activities such as golfing, windsurfing, and horseback, or enjoy a unique culinary or spa experience. With such a breadth of diverse offerings, it is no wonder Half Moon has a legendary guestbook filled with names ranging from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II to former United States President John F. Kennedy and former First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy.

Lebua Resort Jaipur – Jaipur, India

Located in the “Pink City of India,” Lebua Resort Jaipur is one of the most awe-inspiring destinations in Rajasthan, providing a true sense of place by paying homage to the culture and vibrancy of its surroundings, located near iconic monuments such as Hawa Mahal and Rani Sisodia Bagh.  The immersive experience begins upon arrival, when travelers are greeted with aarti, a traditional offering of candles made from ghee or camphor, rosebuds, a refreshing towel, and beverages. Each of the 63 guestrooms are filled with the color, texture, and patterns of its home state and offer breathtaking views of the Aravalli mountain range.

Hotel Metropole Geneve – Geneva, Switzerland

A new addition to the independent scene, Hotel Metrople Geneve is a boutique property situated on the left bank of Lake Geneva that presents world-class Swiss hospitality at its finest. Guests can start their day on the lake’s running trails before making their way to nearby Old Town, home to charming cafes, museums, and historical sights. The hotel’s beautifully designed guestrooms are a stylish retreat from the city, and a summer evening enjoying live music and cocktails on the rooftop lounge, which overlooks both the city and lake, is an experience not to be missed.
