Princess Cruises Australia announced today some strategic changes to their Sales & Marketing function to ensure continued success for the Princess business across Australia and New Zealand in the years ahead.

After five years of commuting between Brisbane and Sydney, Brett Wendorf will move into a newly created position of National Sales Manager covering Queensland, Victoria and New Zealand. In this new Brisbane-based position, Brett will continue to support key strategic partners and lead the Business Development team across the region. Trevor Thwaites has been promoted into an equivalent National Sales Manager role covering New South Wales, South Australia, Northern Territory and Western Australia. Trevor will continue to manage key national accounts but will also now manage the Business Development Team across these territories.

In other changes to the Sales Team, Lachlan Brett has been promoted to Senior Sales Specialist, responsible for developing Princess Cruises’ home based agency networks and cruise specialist wholesalers and leading the critical support functions of Inside Sales & Groups.

After leading Princess Cruises’ Marketing Team for six years, Nick Ferguson has been promoted to Sales and Marketing Director leading a new combined Sales & Marketing Department.  In his new role both National Sales Managers and the Senior Sales Specialist will report direct into Nick.

In the Marketing Team, Chloe Jones has been promoted to Marketing Manager and Lillian Canedo has been promoted to Trade Marketing Specialist, whilst Andrea Jacob will continue to oversee Princess Cruises’ important Academy Program.

‘After five years of commuting thousands of kilometres between Brisbane and Sydney, Brett Wendorf will be moving home to Queensland. Fortunately for Princess he’s not leaving us, and I’d like to recognise the amazing contribution and commitment Brett has made Princess and the Sales Team whilst living away from his family,” said Senior Vice President Princess Cruises Asia Pacific, Stuart Allison.

“Nick Ferguson brings more than 15 years of experience across strategic Marketing, Campaign Development and implementation, and, for the past 6 years Nick has successfully led the Princess Australia Marketing team driving brand preference contributing to Princess’ record 2017 year.”

These changes will progressively come into effect through February.
