Princess Cruises’ is inviting Australian and New Zealand guests to experience the new one-of-a-kind Treehouse at Mt. McKinley Princess Wilderness Lodge in Alaska. Unveiled in an episode of the top-rated U.S. program Treehouse Masters on Animal Planet, the treehouse offers guests an incredible view of Denali, North America’s highest peak. With 1 in 4 Australians travelling to Alaska with Princess Cruises, this new and unique treehouse experience is particularly exciting for Australian and New Zealand adventurers.

A result of Princess’ partnership with Discovery Communications, the treehouse was the first ever designed and constructed in Alaska by Pete Nelson, the star of the hit Animal Planet series.  As one of the highest land-based north-facing viewing areas, the treehouse provides Princess guests an unparalleled experience to see the south face of Denali from the trees, and is powered by solar panels. At approximately 47 square metres, guests can access the treehouse by hiking the short “hill trail loop” and be rewarded by the ultimate Denali view.

“The Denali Explorer is Australia’s favourite overland tour in Alaska, and McKinley Wilderness Lodge Treehouse will continue to deliver the unrivalled experience our guests have come to expect from Princess Cruises,” said Princess Cruises Vice President Australia and New Zealand Stuart Allison.

“The popularity of our Fly Cruise itineraries shows that Australian and New Zealand guests really enjoy cruising Alaska, with the region constantly ranking as our guest’s favourite destination to experience,” said Mr Allison.

Guests traveling on a Princess Cruises cruisetour will be able to enjoy the treehouse, along with visits to other Princess-owned lodges, and a ride on the Direct-to-the-Wilderness rail service, saving time on travel and allowing for more time to experience the wilderness of Alaska.

Fares for a 5-night Denali Explorer land tour and 7-night Glacier cruise on Star Princess departing May 14, 2018 start from $2619* per person twin share. For more information visit www.princess.com, call 13 24 88 or see a licensed travel agent. *subject to availability, conditions apply.
