Goldfinch Tavern introduces two private dining rooms, Whidbey and Vashon, and the team who personalises each intimate event, whether for business or to celebrate special moments.
Named after the Seattle islands in Elliott Bay, Whidbey (to the north) and Vashon (to the south), each private dining room can seat up to 16 people, with floor-to-ceiling windows that give guests views of the downtown waterfront. The menus mirror Goldfinch Tavern, with an emphasis on customising each meal to serve the purpose of the event, from a selection of dishes for appetisers and cocktails for a small reception to family-style or three-course meals for a casual dinner.
Andrea Ikata, Goldfinch Tavern’s new Private Dining Manager, is responsible for booking and coordinating events in Whidbey and Vashon. One might also see her in the restaurant, assisting General Manager David Kim. David brings more than 25 years of experience in the restaurant industry, most recently from TableSafe and prior to that Canlis as service director.
“Being in the restaurant means constantly interacting with all kinds of people and having the opportunity to make a connection with them via great meals and great experiences,” says Andrea Ikata. “I am thrilled to begin something that will be characteristic of what makes dining at Goldfinch Tavern truly unique.”
Goldfinch Tavern also welcomes Thomas Rotherham as Sommelier. Thomas and Chef Joe Ritchie can elevate private events with their wine and culinary expertise to offer a memorable experience. Various configurations for Whidbey and Vashon include:
- 20 guests for a standing reception
- 14 guests at one conference table
- 16 guests at two tables of 8
- 12 guests for square seating in Whidbey
Goldfinch Tavern at Four Seasons Hotel Seattle is open for breakfast, lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and daily happy hour. Reservations for private events are required by calling 206 749 4502 or emailing email@example.com.
