Australia’s first professional Instagrammer, Lauren Bath, returned to the Kimberley in August for her third visit, this time taking the opportunity to join Kimberley Quest on board their luxury cruise vessel for a 10 day adventure cruise.
Having had the ability to travel to some of the most spectacular destinations in the world for work, Lauren explains, “The Kimberley is a place very close to my own heart”. Lauren of course leaped at the opportunity to join the Kimberley Quest crew on another adventure, capturing her experiences along the way.
Joined on board by 17 guests and 7 crew including naturalist Tim Willing, Lauren shared her incredible images on social media platforms Instagram, Facebook, Google+ and Steller.
The chef turned photographer turned social media influencer currently has an Instagram following of more than 450,000. Lauren’s Kimberley snapshots acquired over 200,000 unique engagements, and gained a huge amount of interest from her audience, thus shining a spotlight on the region.
“It was a lot of work creating that much content but it was worth every single minute… I think that the entire team and operation is very special and for once I am genuinely missing everyone!” she says.
On her experience post cruise, Lauren shared the following on Facebook “I think you guys are the best tourism operators in the country!”
