Progressive Lunch Tours in Macarthur A Sumptuous Success

The success of previous progressive wine lunches in the historic Macarthur region has paved the way for another moving feast onSunday August 4, 2013.

Fussy Grape WineryColonial entrepreneur and wine lover, John Macarthur, first planted vines in deep alluvial soil in the Camden area, 65km south-west of Sydney, in 1817 from cuttings he brought from France, giving birth to Australia’s flourishing wine industry. The Macarthur region is now named after the pioneering vigneron.

Three of Macarthur’s wineries – Fussy Grape, Trattoria La Vigna and Razorback Ridge Wines – will band together again to offer a self-drive, three-course, progressive lunch tour on Sunday, August 4, with a course enjoyed at each winery.

The Macarthur Progressive Wine Luncheon will start at 11.30am with canapes served at the Fussy Grape winery near Camden followed by the main course at Trattoria La Vigna in Camden andFussy Grape winery1 dessert at Razorback Ridge Wines south of Camden. A complimentary glass of wine will be available with the main course and dessert while wine tasting and an address by the wine makers will also be offered at each vineyard.

All designated drivers on the day will also go into the draw to win a bottle of wine to enjoy back home.
