Prosecutors have dropped their case against a South Australian travel agent.

Zeljka Loncar, 37, was excused from appearing in the Port Adelaide Magistrates Court, where a charge of dishonest dealing with documents was withdrawn, the Adelaide Advertiser reported.

Loncar was alleged to have defrauded AUD 8122.60 from foreign currency exchange CityForex at Royal Park in Adelaide’s western suburbs in July last year.

On Monday, when the matter came to court, prosecutors tendered no evidence and the charge was withdrawn, the paper recorded.

Previously, about 20 customers had claimed Loncar’s travel agency, Zym Travel, took their money but cancelled their bookings without their knowledge. About AUD 100,000 was involved, according to the Advertiser.
