Luxury global Travel Company Abercrombie & Kent is delighted to offer more than 20 cruise destinations amongst its holiday offering for 2014 comprising some amazing small ship cruises right across the globe.
Some are expeditionary in nature; others educational; while some are perfect for simply relaxing and taking in the local culture. There are also vessels of every size, with guest capacity from as few as four on a luxury motor yacht in Croatia to 210 on an expeditionary cruise in Patagonia. Plus there are great options for couples, families and solo travellers, with exceptional service and on-board camaraderie the norm.

Here’s a roundup of A&K’s cruises for 2014.

No visit to Peru is complete without an Amazon wilderness experience. A&K, in partnership with Aqua Expeditions, offers two luxury vessels here – MV Aqua and MV Aria – which carry 24 and 32 passengers respectively. Outstanding guides, extensive touring, gourmet cuisine and designer cabins are Sidebar-Article-Banner-250highlights. The area explored is the pristine and remote 5 million acre Pacaya Samiria Reserve at the headwaters of the Amazon basin. Activities include village visits, piranha fishing, bird and wildlife viewing and visits to conservation and sustainability projects. 3, 4 and 7 night cruises are available with prices from US $2,850 per person.

A journey to Antarctica is one of the world’s great adventures. It is an expedition to the harshest, driest and coldest region on the planet – the world’s most remote and final frontier. With A&K the journey is conducted in sublime style on board MV Le Boreal, which carries just 199 guests in spacious, designer comfort. A&K has over 20 years of experience in Antarctic cruising and hand picks the expedition leader and guiding team, all of whom are exceptionally credentialed. A&K’s 12-day ‘Classic Antarctica’ journey is priced from US $12,495 per person.

Offer: Early Booking Discounts available for 2014-15 Season for bookings made by 28 February 2014.

On the other side of the world, A&K offers two journeys to the High Arctic operating in July and August, both on board the stylish MV Le Boreal. The first encompasses Norway and the High Arctic Svalbard Archipelago and takes guests in search of the mighty polar bear. The second visits Norway and Spitsbergen plus the region’s most remote islands and East Greenland. Polar bears, fjords, volcanoes, fishing villages and remarkable landscapes are all highlights. A&K’s seasoned expedition team is an integral part of this enriching experience. A&K’s 12-day cruise is priced from US $9,995 per person.

Ayeyarwady River
