“Qantas Best of New Zealand with Master Chef Simon Gault” Parkview Restaurant, Lobby Level

This July, New Zealand’s celebrity MasterChef will be unleashing the power of his food to nourish the body, soul, hearts (and stomachs) of diners at Parkview Restaurant’s Gourmet Buffet Dinner. 

New ZealandInnovative and entrepreneurial chef Simon Gault started as an apprentice in Auckland, New Zealand before working in a string of top restaurants in the UK where he gained invaluable and varied experiences.  His career has taken him around the world – working in top restaurants, and as a high-flying personal chef – and back again as an internationally respected chef. Simon is a global culinary superstar who has a remarkable talent for bringing together tastes and techniques from around the world.  He is a Kiwi celebrity chef and a household name thanks to his TV appearances on MasterChef New Zealand and Chef on a Mission. As co-owner and Executive Chef of the Nourish Group –  a collection of multi-award winning restaurant brands that includes Euro Bar & Restaurant, FISH and Jervois Steakhouse in Auckland, Bistro Lago in Taupo, Jervois Steak House in Queenstown and Shed 5, Pravda and The Crab Shack in Wellington.  Euro is one of the culinary stars on Auckland’s Viaduct Harbour waterfront strip and has been included in prestigious US Condé Nast Traveler magazine’s list of top 50 restaurants in the world.

Chef Simon Gault’s command of global high quality culinary ingredients and styles will be brilliantly showcased in a 5-day celebration of bold and contrasting flavours and textures prepared with style and imagination, including a variety of premium-quality New Zealand ingredients. Qantas Airways and Parkview Restaurant at Imperial Queen’s Park is proud to present the New Zealand inspired cuisine of one of the world’s great chefs and invites you to join us for a dinner buffet that will entertain your senses and inspire all who adore fine ingredients prepared at their best.

Menu items will showcase a variety of outstanding ingredients delightfully paired with the wines or Yealand Estates in New Zealand.   Signature dishes will include Puha pea pipe, Pita pillow with foie gras mouse / cervena, Cured Salmon with rocket gel, NZ Angus scotch fillet, Simon Gault signature rotisserie SG chicken, Nitro white chocolate and Cointreau rock, Chocolate Zen, NZ honey ice cream

As an added reward, diners during the Qantas Best of New Zealand promotion will go in the draw to win flights for two persons to Auckland, New Zealand including 4 nights’ accommodation, courtesy of Qantas.
