The Northern Territory is an increasingly popular holiday destination in Australia with an incredible $1.85 billion spent on domestic and international tourism to the NT in 2014 – a 13% increase from the previous year.
Qantas Holidays has joined forces with Tourism NT to showcase the Northern Territory to 170 of Australia’s top travel agents for it’s preeminent annual Global Achievers reward and recognition event. This year’s Global Achievers have been offered a number of exciting famils before and after the 1940‘s themed Gala Award Dinner on Saturday 17th October in Darwin.
Kicking off today, the famils will take consultants on adventures in the outback visiting iconic destinations such as Australia’s largest national park Kakadu, swimming in the beautiful waterholes of Litchfield National Park, adventuring to where the outback meets the tropics in Katherine and even discovering the home of Australia’s iconic didjeridoo in Arhem Land.
Fiona Dalton, Head of Sales Qantas Holidays and Viva! Holidays, says the Global Achievers 2015 itineraries will give the top consultants their own unique Northern Territory experience.
“The Northern Territory is an increasingly popular holiday destination in Australia and we are so excited to give our top Australian consultants their own experiences to take home and share with their colleagues and customers. Tourism NT have organised some incredible and unique itineraries with some agents even lucky enough to discover Arnhem Land. Our Global Achievers famils are bursting with adventure, excitement and truly showcase the beauty and history of the Northern Territory to our top consultants.”
