Queensland Cricketers’ Club (QC Club) is a Brisbane classic. Established more than 50 years ago, QC Club has retained its place as the destination for sports lovers to come together to eat, drink and enjoy a game of cricket or AFL.
These days, QC Club is about more than just sports. Situated within the Gabba stadium and overlooking the hallowed grounds, bringing people together to enjoy sports will always be at the heart of the Club. But it’s also a place to indulge in delicious dining; attend a cocktail party or relax with an after-work drink; or simply to get together with friends to eat, drink, catch a match, and enjoy the one-of-a-kind view.
QC Club is dedicated to welcoming regular members as well as new ones, which can be seen in its recent elegant refurbishment, its seasonally-updated menus, exciting special events, and its diverse array of Ambassadors. QC Club’s Ambassadors reflect the evolving dynamic of the Club as well as the core values it maintains.
Current Ambassadors include sporting heroes: cricket icons Ian Healy, Stuart Law, Darren Lehmann, Jimmy Maher, Carl Rackemann, and Greg Ritchie; AFL’s Simon Black, NRL legends Petero Civoniceva and Wally Lewis; Wallabies Captain Stephen Moore; and Aussie golf champion Rachel Hetherington.
Ambassadors also include TV, radio and media personalities, including: former Miss Universe Australia and TV presenter Kimberley Busteed, media personality Ben Davis, Channel Nine’s Melissa Downes, TV presenter Sofie Formica, Nova 106.9FM’s David “Luttsy” Lutteral, and motivational speaker, commentator and poet, Rupert McCall.
