QC Club unveils spectacular new look

Queensland Cricketers’ Club (QC Club) will on Saturday reveal the first stage of its state of the art refurbishment, as the Club’s doors open for the highly anticipated Adele stadium show.

QC Club has been Brisbane’s premier place for lovers of sport to gather for more than 50 years; and recently it has expanded to become the Club of choice for people interested in premium dining, leisure activities and networking opportunities, as well as the city’s most unique function venue.

The new design, executed by Intermain, makes the most of the Club’s space and its iconic location overlooking the Gabba oval, while also aligning it as a desirable and versatile destination for events.

The entire Club is in the process of being overhauled; transformed into one large, open-plan space that provides members and guests with a spectacular, uninterrupted view of the stadium from everywhere inside in the Club.

With a doubled indoor capacity of 550, the new-look QC Club will be the ideal destination for large-scale and high-profile events.

And, with the option to separate the space into three rooms via partitioned walls that tuck away into hidden cabinets, the Club is also the perfect venue for corporate and private functions of all kinds, giving event planners total flexibility.

Members and guests will still enjoy premium dining for lunch and dinner, as well as the bar for game days or to relax with a drink any time.

CEO Lachlan Furnell is excited to open the doors to unveil the first stage of refurbishments at QC Club, ahead of its official launch on 4 May, for Adele Live on 4th & 5th March.

“The renovation is so far looking incredible. It’s exciting to see our vision for the QC Club taking shape and to see all of the new possibilities for special events and private functions. We can’t wait to show off this first stage of refurbishments, and to unveil the final result in a few weeks,” Mr Furnell said.

All works are scheduled to be completed in time for the Brisbane Lions v Essendon AFL match on 1st April.
