For the first time in four years Queensland travel agents spent a day admiring the jewel in Princess Cruises’ crown, with a visit to the spectacular Diamond Princess during the ship’s call to Brisbane.
Agents were invited onboard to explore the ship’s many new features, including IZUMI Japanese Bath – the largest Japanese bathhouse at sea – Kai Sushi and stylish new boutiques, added during its $30million drydock last year.
While onboard, the 50 agents were also treated to a flare cocktail show in the ship’s Wheelhouse Bar and a tasting of Princess’ new Seawitch West Coast IPA beer, before concluding their visit with a four-course Sabatini’s lunch.
The visit took place in late March as Diamond Princess cruised north en route to Asia for her upcoming season of cruises from Japan. Diamond Princess will return to Australia in September.
