The hotel won TAA (Vic) Accommodation Awards for Excellence – Superior Accommodation Hotel of the Year.
Mr Finlayson reiterated his recent comments that hotels should not be rest on the laurels of high occupancy but focus on people, both staff and guests.
“Our ‘Yes I Can!’ theme has lifted and maintained critical service levels as well as developed the hospitality skills required of a top class international hotel brand,” he said. “Yes I Can! is the philosophy that everyone that works for Radisson lives by. It’s the attitude we bring to work every day, it’s the way we do business and it’s the lens we use when trying to resolve guest issues or complaints.”
