Radulović and QSO to deliver Dvořák red-hot rigour

Forget the Federal Election, on July 2 the only thing to listen to will be right here in Brisbane when a rock-star of the classical world puts the pro in Prokofiev!

Awarded ‘International Revelation of the Year’ by Victoires de la Musique, one can sense there is something very special about the rock-star hair-wearing, leather-pant bearing, major record-label darling and violin virtuoso, Nemanja Radulović; and Brisbane-audiences will find out when he performs with the Queensland Symphony Orchestra (QSO) on Saturday July 2!

From slaying Monti’s Czardas in a music shop to performing with some of the world’s leading orchestras, Radulović – a self-confessed Abba jammer – jets in to Brisbane to play with QSO for one blistering night of Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Dvořák.

In what promises to be a white knuckled, emotional journey via Tchaikovsky – full of drama and star-crossed lovers – Radulović is set to follow with Prokofiev’s Second Violin Concerto. Music lovers will be brought back-to-earth with Dvořák’s Symphony No.8 full of enchanting alfresco melodies and lyrical beauty, under the baton of Spanish conductor Jaime Martin.

In a sensational year of Maestro concerts for QSO, it is undoubtedly this mid-winter performance with trailblazer Radulović that is to knockout and transform new and devoted classical music lovers alike.
