Rail Plus is now offering smart travel agents the chance to test their Eurostar knowledge – and go in the running for some tempting European treats – in the second annual Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador program.
Consultants have until midnight on November 14 to visit www.railplus.com.au and complete a simple training module before taking a quiz on Eurostar’s celebrated product.
This year agents will answer 30 questions – selected randomly from a pool of 50 brain teasers – on subjects ranging from Eurostar’s network and cabin classes to ticketing procedures and travel times.
Every consultant scoring a pass rate of 60% or higher will receive a Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador certificate, with the top consultant* taking five of their friends on a limousine ride to a luxurious English high tea in their home city (valued at $1000).
Second prize this year is six bottles of fine French champagne (valued at $650), while the third-placed consultant will receive a Belgium-themed goodie bag featuring a waffle maker, beer and some delicious chocolates ($350).
Agents are only allowed one attempt at the questions (with each person’s score revealed upon completion), but before starting they can view the entertaining and informative training module as many times as they wish.
Rail Plus Commercial Director Ingrid Kocijan says there have been some important changes to Eurostar’s product over the past 12 months, and the training module has been completely refreshed with new information and images.
“Eurostar is continually enhancing it customer experience, most recently through the introduction of its state-of-the-art e320 trains, which are setting new standards for on-board comfort, digital connectivity and entertainment,” says Kocijan.
“Given Eurostar is Australian travellers’ most popular train journey, it is vital agents continually stay abreast of these changes. The Rail Plus Eurostar Ambassador program offers a fun and informative way to do just that.”
