Belmond’s growing collection of luxury experiences are on full display in Rail Plus’ newly-released 2017 Great Train Journeys brochure, which once again takes travel agents on an unrivalled tour of the world’s most alluring rail voyages.

The latest program dedicates eight pages to Belmond’s unrivalled product suite, including Venice Simplon-Orient-Express, Belmond Grand Hibernian (Ireland), Belmond British Pullman, Belmond Northern Belle (England), Belmond Royal Scotsman, Belmond Afloat in France (fully crewed barges), Belmond Road to Manadalay, Belmond Orcaella and the Eastern & Oriental Express.

Featured for the first time is Belmond’s Andean Explorer – South America’s first luxury sleep train – which from May 2017 will operate four spectacular itineraries, including a full-day journey from Cuzco, ancient capital of the Inca Empire, across the high plains of the Andes and on to the shores of Lake Titicaca.

Rail Plus has redesigned its 2017 brochure – the largest in the company’s history – with journeys now grouped geographically and each page offering consultants a prominent product summary, with simple icons indicating key features and inclusions.

In North America agents will once again find details on Canada’s celebrated Rocky Mountaineer and VIA Rail journeys, but this year’s brochure also focuses on Rail Plus’ increasingly popular trans-Canada packages. Custom designed by the company’s Great Train Journeys specialists, the packages meld together some of Canada’s greatest rail voyages with a range of exclusive sightseeing tours.

In addition, the program details on a selection of six Amtrak ‘Epic Journeys’, including the Coast Starlight (Los Angeles-Seattle), California Zephyr (Chicago-San Francisco) and Empire builder (Seattle-Chicago).

Elsewhere agents will find profiles on an unrivalled range of iconic rail trips, from the Golden Eagle Trans-Siberian (Russia) and El Transcantabrico (Spain), to The Blue Train and Rovos Rail (Africa), Eastern & Oriental Express (Asia), Palace on Wheels (India), and Australia’s own The Ghan and Indian Pacific.

Rail Plus operates a dedicated phone line for Great Train Journeys, allowing travel consultants to directly connect with the company’s expert consultants and secure seats on the world’s most exclusive rail adventures.

Agents can now order the 2017 Great Train Journeys brochure through TIFS or download a copy from www.railplus.com.au.
