RCL, Celebrity fares now include cabin and dining room staff gratuities

December 5, 2016 Headline News No Comments Email Email

egtmedia59Nothing is more annoying that booking a cruise at an advertised price only to discover at the payment stage that crew gratuities have to be added. So it is good news that Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruises are moving to an even more inclusive fare that includes service as well as main meals, accommodation and entertainment. Applicable from 12 December 2016 for all new Australian and New Zealand bookings on sailings departing on or after 15 January 2017, service charges for stateroom attendants and dining room staff will now be included in the fare.
The company says guests will see no change to the published price of cruises via any Royal Caribbean point of sale, including website, advertising and call centre pricing.
