Summer is on the wane and the chilly mornings and golden leaves of Autumn are a jolting us out of our hazy summer frame of mind here in the Wakatipu. It’s time for the Real Journeys Queenstown Winter Festival team to start counting down the days until our annual celebration of all things winter.
After 45 years the Festival may be a tradition but it’s never acted it’s age. The Festival is as vibrant and relevant as ever and for our 45th birthday, we’re turning the volume up to 11 with some rather large birthday plans.
Becoming a finalist in 2018 for New Zealand’s best event, backed by a hefty family of local and national sponsors and firing on all cylinders after two years of format and creative changes, from mountain top to lake shore, the 2019 Real Journeys Queenstown Winter Festival will be the best festival yet.
