Luxury Travel was also encouraged following informal talks and updates about the global tourism industry which is at its best at the beginning of the 2015 tourist season.

This year, ITB Berlin registered 175,000 visitors in five days andattracted 10,096 exhibitors from186 countries to the26 halls from 4 to 8 March 2015.

The ratio of trade visitors from overseasincreased to 43% (versus 40% in 2014). In addition, due to strong commercial activity, they stayed longer than last year at ITB Berlin.

According to the estimates of ITB Berlin 2015, the value of contracts signed during the largest fair of the global tourism sector rose from 6.5 billion Euros in the previous year to 6.7 billion Euros in 2015.

Stimulated by lower energy prices, low interest rates, low inflation and positive economic outlook for the Eurozone and North America, the industry begins the new tourism year with high expectations. What is interesting to note is that it is particularly encouraging for the luxury travel sector which is benefiting a great deal from this phenomenon.

It is also particularly noticeable in Germany that consumers have a strong desire to travel.Positive wage agreements, the stable development of the labor market and lower living costs ensure that they are more willing than in previous years to spend their money on an overseas trip. Luxury Travel Ltd is actively following this trend as it is reinforcing its German-speaking market team by appointing a new representative company based in Germany: HST Consulting & Marketing.

Mr Hans Peter Stauffer, Director of HST Tourism Consulting & Marketing, met Mr Pham Ha at the trade show and said “I am pleased to become Luxury Travel’s rep in Germany and I firmly believe this relationship will help to promote Vietnam, Laos and Cambodia to their European customers.”

The B2B sector is also going well despite the lasting change in the world of travel caused by the Internet with new applications, major search engines and software.Travelers still relyon travel agencies for bookingtheir annual holiday because of thepersonal advicethey receive and the expertiseavailable from the travel trade.
