Red Carnation Hotels Top Six Categories In Travel + Leisure’s ‘World’s Best’ Awards

The Red Carnation Hotel Collection is pleased to announce that seven of its hotels earned top honors in Travel + Leisure’s coveted World’s Best Awards 2017, reaching the top 10 in four categories and the top 100 in two others. 

Red Carnation properties proudly dominated the ‘Top 10 Hotels in London’ category, winning five of the 10 spots, with Hotel ’41’ earning the No. 1 position for the second consecutive yearThe Milestone Hotel came in at No. 2The Egerton House Hotel at No. 3The Chesterfield Mayfair at No. 6, and The Rubens at the Palace at No. 9

One of the city’s most distinguished and sought-after hotels, ’41’ boasts views overlooking The Royal Mews at Buckingham Palace and offers guests the height of luxury in London. In addition to its superb location and chic black-and-white décor, ’41’ offers round-the-clock dining and complimentary treats in the residents-only Executive Lounge, staffed by a team that outnumbers guests two to one.

In the ‘Top 15 City Hotels in Europe’ category, ’41,’ The Milestone and The Egerton won the No. 2No. 3, and No. 4 spots, respectively, and these three hotels also earned the No. 55No. 56, and No. 72 spots in the ‘Top 100 Hotels in the World’ category.  

Other winners include Ireland’s Ashford Castle, which picked up the No. 2 spot in the ‘Top Resort Hotels in the UK and Ireland’ category, and the No. 6 spot in the ‘Top 15 Resort Hotels in Europe’ category. Ashford Castle was also voted No. 59 on the ‘Top 100 Hotels in the World’ list. The Twelve Apostles Hotel and Spa in Cape Town rounds out the list, earning the No. 2 place in the ‘Top City Hotels in Africa’category.
