Red Lion Hotels Corporation (RLHC) is preparing to open Hotel RL Baltimore. The first of the company’s new Hotel RL full-service lifestyle hotels, the Baltimore property will bring an authentic, straightforward approach to service and an upscale design concept to the city’s Inner Harbor area. The hotel is now accepting reservations for August 1 and beyond, offering 20% off in celebration of its grand opening.
Hotel RL Baltimore
Hotel RL Baltimore Inner Harbor – at 207 East Redwood Street – represents an adaptive reuse of an architectural jewel, the Keyser Building. The 10-story historic building, featuring a classic cut-stone façade, has occupied a position of prominence in the heart of Downtown Baltimore for 110 years. The hotel’s design uses the lobby as a focal point – a Pacific Northwest-inspired coffee house-style setting where guests can work on their computers, congregate for events, and connect over third-wave coffee and craft beer.
“Our excitement for this first-ever Hotel RL Baltimore Inner Harbor is palpable,” says Angela Landgraf, Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for RLHC. “We can hardly wait to share it with the world. The authentic, straightforward approach we are taking with the brand, combined with its upscale design concept, will be highlighted within this adaptive reuse architectural jewel of Baltimore’s Keyser building.”
When the hotel opens on August 1, it will be the first Hotel RL to open since RLHC introduced the upscale lifestyle brand in fall 2014. Three additional Red Lion properties – in Salt Lake City, Spokane and Olympia, Wash. – are in the process of converting to the Hotel RL brand, with completion of these projects expected during the first quarter of 2016.
