All-inclusive cruise line Regent Seven Seas Cruises (RSSC) has been named “Best for Luxury” by leading global cruise review site and online community Cruise Critic, in its first-ever Editors’ Picks Awards exclusively for the Australian market.

“We’re thrilled to have been recognised by such an industry publishing icon in its inaugural awards targeted towards Australian cruisers, who are particularly passionate cruise fans, especially during 2016, which has been a monumental year for the RSSC brand,” said Senior Vice President and Managing Director for Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Asia Pacific, Mr Steve Odell.

“Not only is RSSC celebrating its 25th year at sea, we’re still flying high from the recent maiden voyage of our flagshipSeven Seas Explorer, which has set a new benchmark as The Most Luxurious Ship Ever Built™.”

“This award acknowledges RSSC’s position at the forefront of the opulent, all-inclusive cruise sector, where guests enjoy fine dining and quality wines and spirits across a raft of specialty restaurants, all-suite accommodation, superb personalised service thanks to an incredibly high staff to guest ratio, and fascinating shore excursions in each and every port of call,” added Mr Odell.

“Australians love to cruise and we’re seeing cruise lines send some of their best ships to our region, reflecting the increase in popularity,” explained Louise Goldsbury, Cruise Critic’s Australia Editor.

“We launched our Australian Cruise Critic Editors’ Picks Awards to highlight the top cruise lines across 15 categories to help travellers narrow down their options and plan their next cruise,” she added.

According to Cruise Critic, Seven Seas Explorer ‘lived up to this year’s hype as the world’s most luxurious ship through its impeccable service, lavish use of marble and chandeliers, incredible art collection, world-class restaurants, and uplifting sense of space’.
